I'm really bad at Christmas...and really birthdays. I'm not actually bad when I'm there, just the whole present thing beforehand. The one time that I was truly proud of the gift I made was when I made a pool table for my parents. Most of my family loves pool, but we never had room for one. So for Christmas in like 2015, I built my parents a cover for a ping-pong table that worked with pool. Failures of this project: I do love this project a lot. Mostly because it looks so pretty on camera, but in real life, it was kind've a fail. Pool tables are expensive for a reason. The green felt, though important, is not nearly as important as the rest of the table. Most pool tables have a solid inch of steel to prevent shaking and indentations, this did not. The pool table was shaky and less than ideal.
I have been invited by my roommate to try again, though, in our dorm basement though, so I may give this project another shot.
